There was some nice color in the eastern sky this morning before sunrise.
Was able to get it some air time, too. Always grateful to have more exposure for these images.

It was quite cloudy Saturday morning and I wasn’t sure what I would find when I got to the National Sea Shore. For a while it seemed I would be better off doing something else. But when I approached the entrance to Coast Guard Beach I was glad I came.
It was a very comfortable morning with a land breeze and a dreamy sky. I wasn’t alone taking in the sunrise, which was fine. Still enjoyed the cool ocean on my ankles.
As Friday arrived clouds were already approaching. The clouds are predicted to stay and the temperature to get lower. Like this morning’s sliver of pink glow an hour before sunrise, if I was going to enjoy a little spring, it had to be right now.
I do admit it was a little early in the season to go barefoot on the beach. But other than that, I had a great time. Low clouds moved in from the south forming new cloud shapes on the horizon.
I got out early and caught the early morning light at Nauset Beach today. A great way to start the day.
I am grateful for each day I can start at the ocean with the early morning light. It was one of those mornings when I couldn’t seem to get close enough to take it all in and got a good foot soak as I took these photos.
Today is the last day of summer. I will be sharing some moments from a memorable 2021 summer sunrise. Tomorrow I will be sharing a memorable sunset from 2020.
Here’s to the Summer of 2021!
The weather has been clear for several days now. Well before sunrise the horizon glows on days like these.
This morning I was at Nauset Beach in Orleans before 5 AM. It was worth getting up to see.

I was able to make it back to Nauset Beach today. After a day or so of clouds and some rain the sky cleared. It was warm (45 F) and simply spectacular.
