My fascination with clouds continued tonight.
Even the exposed grain of a dead tree offers something to explore.
Who cares if we are getting a foot of snow tomorrow. It was sunny and 55 today!
I was all alone taking in this morning’s sunrise.
Was out to see the moon on Friday the 13th Eve, aka Thursday night, and was also out this morning.
There’s a lot of energy in the wind and the light and the rising and plummeting temperatures. And the moon is full.
It could get weird but it should be good.
Tonight the clouds along the horizon at sunset had an incredible texture. The photos with a more golden hue were taken from the bay side of Yarmouth. The ones with the pink tone were taken from the Lewis Bay/Nantucket Sound side. …. kind of had to fly through traffic to get those, but that’s another story.
I took this photo of Nantucket sound at sunrise one morning two summers ago. It was one of those other worldly experiences I have come to cherish.
