Beach roses glow in the cloudy twilight.

There was a thick cloud layer blocking the iconic capture of the sun popping above the water.

My expectations were low because the afternoon was very cloudy. But at Twilight the sky was clear along the horizon. I got to Lewis Bay just in time.
I walked on the Red Maple Swamp Trail this morning. The boardwalk connects to the Fort Hill Trail and surrounding area.
I’m sure this is a very colorful area in the fall, Today’s display was full of interesting plants in bloom as well as ferns and a variety of trees.
