There was some nice color in the eastern sky this morning before sunrise.
Was able to get it some air time, too. Always grateful to have more exposure for these images.
Early Light at Nauset Beach.
Saturday Morning
I was on Chatham Light Beach well before sunrise today. There was a cool breeze from the north and a gentle pastel glow along the horizon.
There was a thick cloud layer blocking the iconic capture of the sun popping above the water.
I headed towards Orleans and was fortunate enough to capture another Cape iconic image of the sun rising above a bay. This was taken south of the Pleasant Bay, Orleans.
Tonight’s Rising Moon and Late Afternoon Light
It was a perfect evening to make several quick stops. And there was so much to see!

It was a great way to start the day, taking in the early color and the sound of the hypnotic surf.
Bright and Colorful
After so many days of gray skies it was great to start the day with so much color and light.
Fortunate to be able to go to a few spots in Sandwich this morning. What a great start to the week.
The Perfect Calm
This morning at Swan Pond was heavy with dew and cool still air. The water’s surface like glass. Clouds seemed more suspended than floating or blowing.
An incredible blessing.
Sundown in Hytown
It was a stunning display of light and color at one of my familiar spots looking towards Hyannis over Lewis Bay.
Kind of cool to share this moment of awe with perfect strangers who also stopped to take in this beauty.
