Was out well before sunrise today taking in the early glow, the scent of rosa rugosa, and the water gently lapping against the shore.

Heritage Musuems and Gardens has so much to offer.
I walked through yesterday with my pocket camera and had a great time capturing things which caught my eye.

Here are some images from my many adventures over the last few days.
Yesterday in Sandwich
Sometimes you are fortunate enough to start the day experiencing this.
It was quiet at Stony Brook when we first arrived, only two ducks and the soothing sounds of the flowing and falling water.
After a few minutes, however, Herring gulls filled the sky by the dozens and soon descended to seek out herring.
It was a quick burst of activity during a serene moment accented by the sound of falling water. It was loud and wild and after a few moments they moved on.
For a brief moment this morning in Osterville I sipped coffee and took in an exquisite morning glow.
However, before I could finish my cup the fog swallowed everything up.
Awestruck by stillness of the sky and the movement of the wind and water.
Tomorrow we are supposed to get a nor’easter. As calm before the storm moments go, this one was stunning.
