I stopped briefly at Coast Guard Beach with my camera and my coffee. After capturing some clouds I headed over to Nauset Light Beach. There, I was able to get a better look at the cloud texture. What caught my attention were the pink clouds to the north and west. I chased clouds to First Encounter Beach.
The “Ooh, Ahh!” part of the rising sun experience was delayed this morning. Higher in the sky, it still made its presence.

Also present higher in the sky was the waning gibbous moon (61%).

The air was crisp. So was the color of the sky and texture of the clouds.

No one within eyesight or earshot.
